Crockett Memorial Fund

Please note that we will not pay for medical expenses incurred prior to approval, nor will we reimburse owners for any services that have already been paid for.

The Crockett Memorial Fund provides veterinary care assistance to pet guardians who struggle to afford medical care for their pets. The program was originally created by veteran board member Pat Sinclair to help older adults keep their pets healthy, it has since grown into something much bigger to support those in need, regardless of age. Through the Crockett Memorial Fund, we provide assistance for medical services from our own veterinary clinic as well as private veterinary clinics. If we approve services at a private veterinary clinic, we will pay those clinics directly over the phone.

Pet guardians residing in San Mateo or Santa Clara counties who own pets that require medical care are welcome to apply for this program. Please review eligibility requirements and procedures before applying.

Types of assistance available include veterinary services, pet food assistance, preventative care, spay and neuter services, and financial assistance for euthanasia services.
