Mini Race: In celebration of Clear the Shelters Day, we are hosting a mini Race to Clear the Shelters! Team Top Dog, Team Cool Cat, and Team Hot Bun are cycling from our Redwood City shelter to our Palo Alto shelter. Help cheer them on online or come out in-person (9:00 a.m. in Redwood City or 9:30 a.m. in Palo Alto).
Bunny 101: We are BURSTING with adoptable bunnies at our Palo Alto shelter! Our wonderful volunteer and rabbit expert Peggy will be hosting a Bunny 101 class to teach you everything about rabbits and help find these long-eared lovelies new homes. We’re excited to invite you to our first-ever Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny!
We’ll supply an adorable photo setting and the Big Bun himself—you just bring your pup, cat, bunny, or other pet(s) for some Easter photos to remember! We’ll also have some PIN shelter pets who will be happy to pose with you if your own pet isn’t up for traveling.
No registration required—photo sessions will take place on a first come, first served basis.
It’s the annual Doggie Biscuit Hunt in Los Altos Hills! You and your dog will hunt through Byrne Preserve in search of dog-healthy biscuits. Pre-biscuit hunt, catch up with all your canine companions whil enjoying a coffee bar with human treats. Tails will wag for this exciting on-leash event is held to benefit Pets In Need.

Arc'teryx Stanford Center is partnering with Ropes for Rescues - which takes old climbing rope and turns it into dog leashes - to raise awareness and donations for the organization's cause.
Guests will get to meet Ropes for Rescues Founder Ryan Dempsey and other members of the climbing community at host Devil's Canyon Brewery.
