Meet Hazel, a pocket of adorableness that's sure to capture your heart at first glance. With boundless energy, Hazel's favorite pastime is engaging in a spirited game of tug-of-war, be it with tennis balls or her beloved toys. But she's not all play—Hazel loves her downtime, often finding a cozy cushion to lounge on as you go about your day.

While this bright-eyed beauty is a quick learner and can follow commands with ease, she has a timid side. The vast outdoors can be a bit overwhelming for Hazel, and she requires some extra TLC to navigate new environments. She also tends to get a tad too enthusiastic around other dogs and may approach strangers with caution. Given her unique quirks, Hazel would thrive best with a family that understands and patiently helps her navigate her fears and grow her outdoor confidence. But here's the silver lining: once you're in Hazel's circle of trust, her love and loyalty know no bounds.

Whether you're in the mood for a play session or a relaxing day indoors, Hazel's right there, offering you the best of both worlds. All she asks in return is patience, understanding, and the warmth of a forever home.

Here’s what her foster had to say:

She is loyal, cuddly, a great companion, she is actually very chill and likes to just sit next to you when you work or watch tv, and she is incredibly smart…Have patience with her, the first couple days can be challenging but once she trusts you, it’s worth all the work. She is an incredible dog!…I think a home with people who are reasonably active, but not extreme. Where she can get her exercise out but also chill. And a family or person who will understand her boundaries and be loving and patient when she is scared would be her ideal home.”
